Facility Storage Characteristics
Store projections
You need to store projections for further review of the V-preview image for each Exam. Note: the V-preview image, which is not a diagnostic image, cannot be stored.
In case you store ONLY projections you will need to retrieve them on the acquistion workstation and manually relaunch a reconstruction before pushing to the review workstation. The V-Preview is only available in IDI 4.7 only
Store planes
If you store planes you also need to store slabs for future diagnostic reference. GE clinical trials have demonstrated clinical performances using both planes and slabs together. If you choose to store only one of these objects, please note that one cannot be recalculated from the other. Slabs and planes can only be recalculated from projections on the acquisition workstation.

Indicate your hospital guidelines
Estimated PACS capacity allocated to mammography (TB)
Often each modality has a quotas avalable for storage, please check with your admin what could be the mammmography departement limit
( Please enter any positive number )
Estimated PACS compression ratio (%)
PACS Compression Ratio should be obtained by administrator of PACS vendor; not that even if the compression option is selected on the acqusition system the PACS may uncompress and recompress with their own ratio. In case a PACS is configured to store objects as they are received, please input in this field the acquistion system compression ratio (typical for lossless compression is 50%; typical for lossy compression 17%)
Network bandwidth (Mb/s)
This value depends on the nominal network bandwidth and the traffic already existing in the service.
